I JUST NEED TO COMPLAIN

It's 5.40 in the morning and Les is still not back from his hall meeting.. Been waiting since 10 p.m. in his room and I'm having a make up lesson for my marketing module at 10 a.m. later... but I cant sleep anyway.. This week is BAD... esp today.. or rather Yesterday...

Once again on Tuesday when I wanted to print my lecture notes for my Science Gem i.e. Color and Vision, I realized that there is going to be a midterm test on Friday (Over already).. and all topics for the past 12 lectures will be covered (and out of 12, I attended only 5 and out of the 5, I left halfway for 3) It is supposed to be a level 1000 module but DAMN that module! It's soooo Damn difficult.. The concepts are sooo CHIM and involves quite a no. of complicated calculations... The description sounded so easy and I STUPIDLY FELL into the trap... It's as good as taking advanced PHYSICS which I dropped during my JC days.. I failed for my CA1 for this module and happily missed the CA2 cos the test date was announced during one of the lectures which I again happily skipped...(The lecturer is an Ang Moh that speaks so softly and with a super thick accent that only he can understands himself) and to think that I spent/WASTED 3 entire days studying for my midterm just now... AS IN REALLY STUDY!!! like reading up the notes and course pack and SURFING the net for all the supplementary readings and extra information... BUT THE ONLINE TEST IS SOOO FREAKING HARD! I'm pissed! for every question (30 in all), there are 5 checkboxes.. and the correct ans cld be any one of those or 2 out of the 5 or 3 or 4 or all correct... U tell me, how many thousand permutations are there?!!! and everything within 25 minutes... I din even manage to finish them and the stupid system just FLASH my PATHETIC SCORE right into my face.. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! (20/70)... It's sooo UNFAIR!!! cos for other ppl who are taking this module with their frens, they can do in groups beside one another (There's no one to monitor anyway).. and I had no one to discuss with.... DAMN DAMN! now I'm so scared that I cant scrap a C for this module cos I wont be able to grad then!!! I S/Ued this module so min must get C.. which I really doubted I can scrap thru!!! KT advised me to register for SPECIAL TERM during the holidays but I NEED TO WORK to pay for my airfare!!!

I'm so pissed.......... and I tink I juz screwed up my Forensic Term Paper as well which was also due just now... No Time to do.. spent all my time on the stupid midterm... and I din even study for my SAKAMOTTO maths exams on Thursday (2 days ago) whereby I need to get at least 70 marks before I'm qualified to teach at the learning centre.. and and AND I'm having my preparation seminars for my overseas internship later and on Sunday from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m... This means to say that I only have Monday to study for one of my midterm on TUES which I haben even started and not to forget my NEVER-ENDING project work and submissions due next week... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

SORRY FOR THE LONG GRUMBLE!!! but I am PISSSSSEED with myself... My time management, My LUCK, My SCHEDULE.......... I need to catch a show and STOP BINGEING on sweets and biscuits whenever I'm stressed...I can easily finish off 1 TUB of love letters (Those GiGANTIC size from GIANT type) without realising it.. Nowadays I feel soooo Unhealthy and Lerthagic... DAMN

Next week is my HELL WEEK once again!!! I have been going for this tuition training course cos i wanna earn pocket money while studying at the same time... But the problem is.. the tuition centre teaches maths an alternative way >>> the SAKAMOTTO way... and to qualify as a tutor, I've to undergo training 2 times a week 7 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. (Sooo Long) and this coming Thurs is the exam to test whether can I qualify to teach (Passing mark is 70.. Cant teach if i get beyond tt and all my time will be wasted) The way of method is quite confusing.. hope I can scrap through man.. and I have so many projects on hand now and a Forensic Science term paper due on Friday which I haben even start!!! Went library juz now but couldn't find any resources... 2 Mid terms the week after but my coming weekend will be burned cos I have to attend a 2-Day seminar for my overseas internship program..(More about this Laters=) Currently, it's the the only thing tt I look fwd to after Grad.. Went all the way to NTU to pay the program fee today.. Hopefully can secure a JOB in Europe *Fingers Crossed*)

I know it's a little late.. but too busy to blog lately.. or lazy rather=) *anyway CNY 15 days also.. so I', still in time=)* New Year was kinda boring this year.. I guess as we grow up, CNY no longer excites me.. and to think that the day before Reunion Dinner I was still rushing an assignment.. I din even get to go ChinaTown.. Hiazzzz.... now my only hope is Hong Pao River!!! *Is that what it's called???* hahaaa...

Anyway... as usual, I baked pineapple tarts this year=) My first Batch was more successful.. In fact quite successful!!! All same size and they tasted really quite good=))) The ones shown in the pic are from my second batch.. Looked not bad also hor.. One thing I like bout New Year still is that I get to eat my gramps cooking (Paternal Side) haha... her dishes are super Calorie-Laden and unhealthy except for her pig organ soup maybe? (Les called it SuperSoup! Ha.. cos It has got pig organs, meatballs, fishballs, sotong balls, mushrooms, sea cucumber, clams, sea aparagus, porRRk, Chickeeen, Drumstick and dunno what shit laaa...) hahaaa.. can only see ingredients cannot find soup.. I ate at her house 3 days in a row... Took lunch at home den go there for 2nd helping at 4 plus everyday!!! I kept telling myself.. "Nvm.. my figure still can afford.. nvm nvm..." hahaaaa.. at the end of the 3 days of celebrations, my pants are feeling kinda tight now...=PPP hmm.. but no regrets!!! WAS PERSUUUAAaaDed by Lester to catch the FINALS LIVE at Kallang Stadium on Wednesday... Wasn't Keen Initially but since it's the Last Match b4 the stadium will be closed down for renovation... Well Ok LOR...
Searching for him in the Sea of Red really pissed me off.. He was sitting near the EAST entrance but we were only allowed entrance through the WEST.. and I spent 1 hour walking ard DESPITE the fact that Stadium was just opp my house! Super Black Face during the First Half or rather until SPORE started SCORING!!! den I started to get HIGH!!! WooHoooo.. Pictures pictures!!!

Look at the NUMBER of SUPPORTERS!!! when the Thai players got the ball.. all sorts of vulgarities also came out.. I also heard words like "Go DRINK TOM YAM la!" haha... A soccer match is a time where ALMOST ALL GROWN UP boys get CHILDISH!!!! (All the Boo-ing and jeering...) YES! and that applies to LESTER as well.. verrrry TRUE

2 years ago, in Macs @ East Coast we first held hands.. 730 days have passed and I'm still holding on to the same pair of hands=) Time seems to fly sweetheart.. 2 years on and I still feel the same way for you when you first slid your hands into mine.. I have so much to say to you and appreciated all the little things that you have done for me=) This year has again been a memorable one for us.. I've enjoyed all the quiet moments spent with you, enjoyed those days spent travelling with you, thankful for your presence during those days when I was feeling down, grateful for those words of encouragement and motivation during those exam periods and glad that u are able to tolerate my wacky moments (It's funny how u still find me amusing after so long.. hehe=P) Just wanna let you know that I will always cherish our beautiful memories we share.. KL Trip Part 1

Just came back from Kuala Lumpur=))) It's my most exciting trip to Malaysia sooo Far! The 4 days were spent shopping and eating.. We dun have to spend on any food and lodging cos everything sponsored by Les's Auntie.. His auntie and uncle are the founders of the salon chains "Thomas and Guys" in Malaysia.. and Lester got to dye his hair for free while I shopped in the shopping mall+) We were so pampered that I dun wanna come home!!!
Day 1:

Our Super Big Seats=))) Comes with TV and Video Games.. Upon reaching.. his aunt recommend us this duper uber NICE Claypot Dish!!!! It's actually "Lao Shu Fen" with oyster sauce and dark sauce plus minced meat/small intestines/liver/veg and egg.. It's really damn nice and I'm still thinking of it till nowwwwwww....

Day 2:

Nice condo view=) and Fantastic Pork Noodles Soup!!! The soup is damn flavoursome!!! and we waited for 45 Min for our breakfast...

Went to KL Times Square shopping mall.. It has 10 Levels!!!! and there's a huge in-door roller coaster inside!!! and it's 360 degrees high speed ride.. U'll feel as if u are dropping down the mall when the ride is upside down and u r facing 10 levels below u.... so COOool!

Dinner was at a Hakka restaurant=) Fried Kailan/ Hakka Yong Tau Fu/ Assam Fish/ Chicken with Ginger and wine/ Stewed Pork I love Malaysia's Food=D

After dinner, we squatted by the roadside to eat DURIANS!!!! hahahaaa.. Tat Glam.. and Spot Les's uncle (Mr. Thomas) with the 80's pose.. +D

This day is the MAJOR HIGHLIGHT!!!!!!!

It was sooo damn exciting.. maybe MORE for Les LAH!!!! cos got soooo many PRETTY GIRLS.. we went to "Chap ji kar" during the Press conference held at Sunway Hotel (Very Posh!) and we are entitled priviledge access=))) Our Faves are MISS THAILAND/TAIWAN/MONGOLIA=D

Lunch at a Hong Kong cafe recommended by Aunt Lena for their toast.. but we din try in the end... I love my Reb Bean dessert with lots of condensed milk... reminds me of Taiwan.... So damn NICE!

Was involved in a kids camp from Monday to Thursday.. My class consisted of 6 kids.. mostly K2s.. and they are so cute=))) The Camp was fun but full of blood sucking kids!! Totally drained out after the 4 day camp.. Shall let the Pics do the talking=D

Happy Day today=D Had a short jog in the morning before visiting my Dad=) I've been feeling kinda bad and unfilial for not paying respect since my US trip.. It's always on my mind but somehow I'm always occupied with projects.. After that I Tau Pau lots of Dim Sum to my gramps place and rot the entire day @ her house=) Bought my grandad a shirt from Crocodile and a Japanese purse for my grandma(While shopping last Friday).. Hahaaa.. My grandad was quite proud that he's wearing a "M" not a "L" and he kept commenting that he look quite good... heheee.. Vain at age 75!!! anyway.. was really happy spending some quality time with them.. Shall be staying over at their place for the next few days.... No PC there.. so shall blog after I come back.. hopefully with Pictures @ my working place with lots of CUUuuuTE Ginas!=) hahahaaa...

My virgin trip to VivoCity today=) With Lester and his bunch of work-n-travel friends.. Our main motive of going there is to eat the famous 'Tai-Hua' Bak Chor Mee that was originally located at Marina Square.. It has now moved to Food Republic at Vivo.. The place was damn COoool.. I meant the foodcourt! Must bring my gramps there soon.. anyway.. all shops were open except tt Bak Chor Mee stall?!?! To think tt we plan whole week and were only free today after 1 whole week's of assignments and presentations!!!! hahaaaaaa... WHAT is THIS??? Went to candy empire after dinner as I was bragging to one of his friends (Xiao Bang) tt the candy place is an eye opener... Biggest in Singapore!=) and many innovative packagings!!! and THEN AGAIN!!!! the store is sooooo DARN smallllllllllllllllll... Tink i read wrongly... cos the one @ Millenia is soooo much bigger! Anyway.. I'm gonna go back to Vivo again!!! cos I spotted Forever21, Zara, TopShop, Warehouse and many other quirky shops.. and there's my FAV bakery i.e. Cedele Depot (Their infamous Ang Moh Carrot Cake!) I was surprised that none of his friends have ever tasted a western carrot cake before............ TRY the one from Cedele.. Bound to get Hooked!!! I Love It =)

Anyway.. Clearing most of my presentations right now.. but 1 major one is coming up... My Promotional Management module which required us to design a marketing plan for ScotchBrite Mop... I'm just so so so EXCITED bout it!!! Budget given is $200K and we are given $300 to buy any printing/project materials... Top Prize:$1000 but hamper=) But it's not the monetary incentive I'm excited bout.. It's the Creativity part.. I've so much up there but just cant express myself well.. Hmmm... after the project is over.. I shall upload my ideas portfolio in my blog... Marketing is tiring!!! BUT I"M ENJOYING what I'm doing... hahaaaa... I love MARKETING!

Wanted to upload this post last week after Shu Hui's birthday celebration.. But LAST WEEK was HELL!!!! In fact the last few weeks!! I've been going school 7 days a week for the last 3 weeks and last Sunday was the ultimate!! I literally had meeting from 12 p.m. on Sunday afternoon to 4 a.m. on Monday morning... I din even take a break at all.. 16 hours non-stop in front of the lap top.. and I was so DAMN PISSED by some of my project mates which I shall not elaborate to dampen the mood of this blog..

It may be "Ji-kok" with cat.. just to confuse your opponents.. den the rest is like the game "SNAP" everyone keeps showing their cards ard the table until there's one the same as yours.. den u have to imitate the sound of your opponent.. Who's slower will have to collect the accumulated cards of your opp. and the one who finish off all her cards wins!!! haha.. Huiyi chose the sound "Orh-ee-orh" and I chose mine "Orh-ee-orh-ee-orh-ee-orh" hahahaa!!! and I always finished pronouncing hers first if we happen to show same cards.. Tactic Sia..

Today's the last day of school before Mid-term Break=) I DEFINITELY need a BREATHER! Going for my mid-term in 1.5 hrs time but I cannot be bothered to study anymore.. Got the wrong Textbook anyway.. so whateva i study will be irrelevant=P Tml will be an exhausting day for me... and It's supposed be be the 1st day of HOLIDAY! Meeting in the morning.. den going to film a Thai-Boxing competition for my project all the way in SengKang.. den attending Ah Loy's 21st Birthday celebration @ East Coast @ Night.. Hope I'm still bursting with energy by then.......... Hmm... must ConCuss tonight to build up enough potential energy.. hahaa!

Anyway............... I've SIGNED up for USA Work and Travel programme for summer 2007!!!=) with Miss Ah Loy=)=)=) We've chosen to work as Food Hosts in Cedar Amusement Theme Park in Ohio! The job desciption sounds quite interesting cos we'll also be involved in food preparation for customers.. Incentives-wise, the employer is able to provide housing with TV, airconditioned rooms, Microwaves, Fridge and Free Internet Connection.. and Housing will be situated in the city whereby all the amentities like banks, post office, supermarkets, shops, gyms etc. are within close proximity.. salarywise = USD$7.25/hour (Quite Reasonable, I think)... and most importantly.. I have Ah Loy as my roomie=) actually wanted to work in the same area as zong ming and the Rest of the guys.. but tt guy signed up for Yellowstone... *HAPPY RIDING PONIES* hahaaaaa... As for KT and YuJia.. They signed up for Seaworld Orlando (Florida).. Nice place to PAT-TOH!!! good choice=) I'll choose tt area if Les going with me too... but he's going to take up another module during tt 3-Months break so as to lighten his workload during his honours year... *Bleaaah* anyway.. I'm still looking fwd to the trip.. must start saving up now cos' I'll not get a SINGLE CENT of sponsorship by my Mum next year.. Hmm... she's still strongly against the idea of me going.. Hiz... she was so agitated when I registered for the programme that she develop a panic attack the next day and had to take a 2-Day MC.... I'm so guilty... but on the other hand.. I'll be graduating next year liaoo.. so it'll be my last chance of applying for this programme.. and Also.. I told my mum that I can actually helped her to slim down (Her Ultimate Dream and AT NO COST) when I spent 3 months in USA cos from past experience.. she actually lost 3-5 KG from worrying when I was in US for a month this year.. Alright~ I was kinda sacarstic but hey! I was trying to lighten the atmosphere... How would I have known that she would be sooo angry 'til she develop an attack.. Hmm.. guess I have to spend some time persuading and assuring her again.... ...

Anyway.. Got to pack up and leave for my test sooon.. Wish Me LUCK! ( I only burnt 3 Hours in the library yesterday studying on the loaned textbook.. and I exceeded the 2-hour loan rule and was fined a buck...) Better make my buck worth! =)

Had quite a long phone conversation with Clara on Tuesday too=) Spent 2 hours grumbling 'bout our school work... Tink Aussie's Uni having exams soon so she's kinda stressed up now.. hahaaaa.. Stay Cool and look forward to ya summer school this DEC, Lucky Girl! I'm worse.. barely mid-term break and I'm Practically DRRrrrrrooooOOOOOWNING.. like SERIOUSLY DROWNING!!! tho~ I bunked over in LES hall everyday.. but I only get to see him late @ night cos I'm always burning my time in Biz Library doing projects and assignments.... I'm majoring in Marketing right now.. and usually marketing majors take up 1 or 2 (AT MOST) marketing modules each sem cos they are very siong in terms of projects!!! (Like 3/4 per module, inclusive of indiv).. and I'm TAKING 3 this sem!!!! PLUS BIZ POLICY which has 2 other projects!!!! and it doesn't help tt one of my Project Groups is such a disappointment (Long Story Short: Mostly Exchange Students and they are always going overseas.. so everything have to pau ka liao!)... It's been a few days since I came back.. have been jetlagging for the past few days.. Sleeping at weird timings (i.e. 6 p.m.) and waking up at times like 6 a.m. My body clock is finally adjusting to normal now.. It's School term now again!! and to THINK tt I actually forgot to bid for modules when I was enjoying myself in USA.. now I'll constantly emailing my school dean to beg for my core modules.. Sometimes I hope I dun be soooo Blur... Now I am only allocated 4 modules and 1 is still in the appeal process.. Hope I will be able to get tt, otherwise it'll be an overload semester for me next sem.. Anyway.. I'm starting to miss US.. miss the late nights roaming and taking the subways and trains all by ourselves.. roaming the cities with nothing but maps and eating takeaways @ our hopstel's courtyard under the sky and having girls' talk late at night...
Shall PhotoBlog about my Washington D.C Trip today=D It's damn happening when I went over to D.C cos the day before is the attempted Bomb Scare from U.K and when we visited The White Houseon tt Saturday, there were many protesters rallying outside and I've got a real life experience of seeing protesters shouting on the streets and chanting "No War!! Let there be Peace...." and tt day Bush was INSIDE the White House!!! tho' I din managed to catch a glimpse of Him.. It was damn exciting! and It was the first time we lunched on the grass and there are squirrels running about... Shall let the photos do the the works=)

We stayed at this Inn and there's a Waffles House beside it.. The food's Cheap and Good!!! We ate there every single day during our week stay! There's also a flea market within walking distance and the things there were damn cheap!!! and 1 thing I really love bout Florida is that the people there are sooooo warm and friendly.. It's like they will just come up to you and say " Hi Sweetie, how's your day? Have a great day!" and everyone is ready to give you a smile or hug.. Alright.. Long story short.. I shall PhotoBlog=D

The Hard Rock Cafe is Humongous!!! Dont have a chance to dine there cos the prices are rocket high..

The Place is Damn Colorful and cheerful.. I wished I came here when I was still a kid.. (Last Pic: Entrance to a cafe.. soooo CUTE)

"The Incredible Hulk" thriller ride.. (This freaked me out! Lucky the waiting queue time is 1.5 hrs... Excuse not to take the ride=p)

My first Ride of the day... It's called "The Dueling Dragons".. It's as scary as "The Incredible Hulk".. Ther are 2 separate rides.. One in Red track and the other in Blue and they are like twisting and turning.. I took the Fire (RED) Track and I kept shouting "I wanna gooooooooooooo Hoommme" during the flight.. Haha..I kept crying throughout the ride.. Soooo *Malu* It's super thrilling!

For the last day in Florida.. We rented a car and drove up to Daytona Beach.. The sand's RED in color and the Sea View is Beautiful!!! There were many families on the beach and many Seagulls~ I picked up many shells along the beach and some Feathers as well.. Ohhh.. and there are many kids running ard.. Ang-Moh Kids are sooo Cute! Maybe I shld juz heed my mum advice to marry a Caucasian (Her Logic: Do your Next Generation a Favour!)

I love to walk along the Beach.. Reminds me of my childhood=) This place gave me a very relaxed feel..

But VERY HOT!!! Cannot Tahan liao.. .

I'm currently in Washington DC.. Just came back from supper with KT and Paulina and KT's colleague Fren (He's letting us stay in his house~) Took an 6 hour bus ride from New York after my internship ended this afternoon.. Wanted to blog about my Florida Trip.. But since my photos are with Les.. I shall photoblog when I reached Singapore since I dont have the time to upload photos anyway..

Now the three of us have the whole house to ourselves!!! This is really life can?! The house is sooo cosy.. It is a 4 storey house.. ithas a basement, porch, backyard and an attic (Tho this looks a little scary.. shall climb up during daylight tml..) and we just treated ourselves to cheesecake and applepie at a bar.. They are damn damn shiok but super ex!!! 1 cheesecake is like SGD$11!!! I drank some Baileys with bananas too.. Yucks!! I dont like alcohol.. We've been splurging on ex food these 2 days... Like yesterday, we joined our caucasian team mates for dinner at a roadside restaurant in New York, I paid SGD$32 for 1 mushroom and a bowl of chicken soup!!!! shall post up all the photos later=D Right now, I'm soooo sleepy now but waiting for my laundry to be done.. waking up in like 6 hours for breakfast at the cafe opp our place before going to visit The White House and all the different musuems... Really excited bout it!!! but we cant visit the pentagon cos it's currently closed cos of terrorist scare this morning.. hiz...

Anyway.. I'm really looking forward to going home this Thurs!!! I travel until very tired liaooo.. but I really had soo much fun in US.. It's really a lifetime experience.. I've learnt so much from the internship and seen so many places.. I've experienced a new type of independence and how to manage my finance during my stay.. I had soo much fun with the girls also.. It's like girls' nite every nite for the past 1.5 weeks.. but then again.. I still miss my mum and sis and gramps and Mr. Lee!!!.. Yup.. soooo Home Sweet Home this Friday... Nitex!

US Journey Part 1=)

I AM BACK to Blogging!!!! I haben been blogging for so long that I almost forgot this blogging add.. Loads of stuff to blog about so i shall split this journey blog into 4 parts=) I'm having my internship right now and my roommate is kind enough to lend me her laptop.. and I'm comfortably staying in a suite now too!!! Life's great @ the moment but I do miss home alot... Alright.. shall blog along with my photos or it will take ages to finish this entry=P (Till Date.. I've took @ LEAST 500 PICS!!! (NOT INCLUSIVE of the ones in Les's Cam) and I've 1.5 more weeks to go... hahaa.. will be touring Washington D.C and New Jersey after my internship ends..)

Day 0: My Gramps and family sending me off @ the airport...

I took a 2 Hr flight to Bangkok before changing a 17 hr flight to NY.. The flight was really testing my endurance level........... and Thank You Very Much.. my movie screen died on me halfway through the journey!!! and I was seated right in the middle with 2 Huge Ang-Mohs beside me (and having weak bladders was a HUGE problem then...) and there are 2 toddlers ard me..(1 screaming in front and the other always tugging my hands from behind..) so... that's it! 17 hours w/o peace...

Day 1: Reached JFK Groggy... but I still managed to tour New York City for the Entire Afternoon..

Subway(MRT system) / Huge Huge Pizzas / Dunno-What-Building / Yellow Cab!!! (It cost ard USD$10 bucks for a 5 Min journey!!! I only took once soooo far.. Wa lauuuuu.. *Kill-People-Set-Fire* can?!)

Les took me to Rockerfella Center.. This place is Beautiful and all the Nation's Flags are displayed here... I'll Upload more in the later part cos I toured this place with my NUS friends when they arrived last week also=)

the INFAMOUS Times Square... This is such a happening place!!!! I took loads of photos but cant seem to upload them now.. They have lots and lots of neon signboards everywhere and there are characters like SpiderMan and SpongeBob walking ard... and all the shops are open till Midnight.. They have many many INTERESTING SHOPS like Hersheys MegaStore where they sell HUGE HUGE Hersheys Choc and their accessories and clothing!!!(shall upload in the later part=)) I LOVE this place and by the time we reached our hostel.. It's usually midnight....

Day 2: Much more REFRESHED!!! and We went Boston for 2 Days!!!

Our Hostel=) It's much better than the one @ New York.. Dun be deceive by the word "Big Apple City" New York is not as Glamorous as we thought to be.. The Subways dont have any elevators/escalators and they all reeked of Urine and looks like damp and dark alleys... The hostel room we stayed in had no air conditioner/fans and the pipes are all rusty and old.. WORSE!!!! got Cockroaches on our beds!!! and HUGE ones somemore.. I Freaked out like dunno what.. and it was soooooooooo stuffy tt we opened the doors and sleep.. Who Cares bout Safety then...

Brunch @ Au Bon Pain (French Bakery Cafe) by the walkway... This cafe gives one a very relaxed feel and it's famous for their pastries and cakes (I've been frequenting this place since KT arrived..) Anyway, Les and me juz lazed ard and watch ppl walk by and entertained by street performers.. Breakfast was Bagels, Toasts, Omelette, Roast Potatoes, Bacon and Peaches=D It was a lazy afternnon and we just nua-ed there.. Opposite Us was Harvard University!!! Beautiful Compound!

I've been too busy to update my blog these 2 weeks... Finally ended my work yesterday!!! and I only have today and tml day to pack my luggage... It was madness... Spent the whole day today running ard TOWN to get all those last min stuff.. and I still got things haben buy... Due to lack of sleep and tight schedule.. I'm having Pimple outbreak now!!! how to see Les lidat?! hahaa..

Anyway.. though I felt really relieved that my work has ended.. I really felt very sad yesterday.. cos my Department ppl are damn damn nice people..and my work there is really very relaxed.. On Thurs, my boss treated us to Pizzahut and KFC and we had a 2HR Break.. and tho~ I breached my Contract.. they did not deduct my pay and even gave me EXTRA S$425 bucks as a token of appreciation for helping them=) Yesterday, I spent the whole day chatting with my colleagues and Vice President.. They ordered Cedele Carrot Cake for teabreak (I really like the cream cheese with Walnuts part!) Better than Coffee Bean's=) and I got quite a no. of Farewell Presents too! i.e. A crystal necklace from my supervisor, A Voodoo Doll keychain from my partner, A precious moment mug and a pearl necklace and many well wishes=) I really enjoyed my 3 months there.. Maybe thinking of going back to work Full Time after my graduation and pursuing my Masters at the same time=)

anyway.. I'm off to US tml!!!! Like Finally?! I'm sooo excited.. but I'm sure to jet lag there cos I'm still slping SPORE Timing.. oh.. and Yesterday Newspaper reported that New York has been hit by a Heatwave..45 DEGREES CELSIUS!!!! I went through some unhappy events before laying my hands on this camera.. In SHORT.. DUN EVA GO MOBILEHUT @ SIM LIM!!! cos they import their goods from Export Sector (Layman Terms: Imitation Goods) TT's y they are able to quote me S$450 for Canon Ixus 65 initially.. Soooo always ask for documentation proof to validate your buys (It's not worth e $$ to splurge so much on a fake good).. In the end.. I decided to buy this Model @ another shop at a slightly higher price.. Well @ least the shop owner is honest.. He quoted me 2 prices the moment I asked for the model I wanted.. One for the model imported from Export Sector(Imitation) and One from the Singapore Retailer(Original).. he did not attempt to hide from the consumer.. so after some opinions from him I decided on SONY cos Their quality of printouts damn good.. the only setback is that they use memory sticks instead of SD cards and memory sticks are DAMN EXPENSIVE!!! hmmmm...... now I know what I WANT for my 21st BIRTHDAY.. heheheeee...

I am a True Blue Virgoan.. No problems with Short-Term untidiness.. but generally I want everything within my scope to be spick and span.. I am tt kind who cant tolerate a book jutting out slightly in a stack=P When I was still staying in a hostel.. my table looked hurricane-blown during daytime (Due to FRUSTRATION laaa) but I made sure everything is neatly packed before I went to sleep=)
(All stationery in pen holders CHECKED, Printing papers in cupboard CHECKED, Food wrappers thrown in dustbin outside CHECKED, all bowls and mugs washed CHECKED, Homework filed in respective files CHECKED, Table free of markings CHECKED, Chair pushed all the way into the table CHECKED… …)

3. Dragging of tables/chairs against the floor (ESP. those w/o rubber covers at the feet)
I hate the sound of metal scratching against the floor.. It never fails to give me Chicken Skin (Goosebumps.. Lots of THEM) and also scratching your nails on metal surfaces.. If there’s any tactic to make me surrender.. THIS IS IT!!! I totally hate it… so dun try=)

I can proudly say that I have not cursed more than 5 times in my entire life so far.. and absolutely no HOKKIEN vulgarities.. They just put me off.. No proper UPBRINGING, No MANNERS, RUDE, LOW-CLASS, AGGRESSIVE, UNCOUTH……….and the list goes on… It is even more degrading for GIRLS to SPEW such language.. WORSE if they are doing a popeye.. (Cigarette in mouth) Makes me feel like stuffing spinach up their nostrils.. (hahaaa.. I’m getting irrelevant here)

5. People who JUST stare and not lend a helping hand
I despise those who can just stare and not bother to lift a finger when something happens.. Hello?! U are not staring at a TV watching those happenings.. Obviously It doesn’t hurt to help lift up someone who fell down/ Call an ambulance or police when the situation is beyond your ability to help/Simply lift up your butt for those elderly or pregnant ladies on buses…….. Our society needs more LOVE *shakes head*

Spent the entire day at HuiYi's house today.. We ate pizzas, took many Photos, Talked aloooot, Laughed a LOT!!!!, confide a little, looked @ old(VERY OLD) photos...(I looked hideous then...), did our manicures, curled some hair (sponsored and hands-on by Astri=P), talked and laughed somemore and took more photossss.... Too tired to blog but I had a great day=D Seeing Assstri and HuiMin after such a long time was such a nice feeling... I dun even feel awkward @ all=) I still love my secondary school frens the best.. and I discovered a secret........ (heheee... ZM: Ass-tri told me bout itttt=D)

Personally I love spending my Day at a coffee joint (tho' i dun drink coffee) and reading books.. It's a form of spiritual getaway for me... I would love to have my own little cosy corner that bakes "sinners" food that will soothe any stressed out nerves (preferably baked by me=D).. Actually, I love baking..BUT my schedule and cost of all the baking preparation needs just forbid me to (and maybe my laziness)... I love the smell of freshly baked pastries/cakes out of the Oven.. I love the feeling of satisfaction when family/friends put 2 thumbs-up for my creation... I love distributing them to my loved ones and feeling much appreciated.. I love seeing people eat... Indulging in good food is the best therapy!

Lunch At Coffee Bean=)

Wanted to catch Silent Hill but missed the timing due to gossiping... not that i mind~ Ooo.. and I was wearing my chuncky necklace today=D I still cant believe i got it for only 5 bucks!

And for those who always missed Mac's Big Breakfast.. Fret Not.. cos Coffee Bean provides all-day Breakfast sets=DDD 8 sets to choose from at $6.50 and they come with tea/coffee.. A little more pricey tho~ but less tendency to encounter screeching kids tho~ we did encounter one today.................

After walking ard Bugis after lunch.. we decided to go PS to catch a show.. went to the toilet to clear my bladder and I saw this! tot I went wrong toilet and i almost ran out.. realized that this is built for mothers with male toddlers... Hmm.. the welfare dept is not slacking~

In the end we decided to catch The Omen despite the fact that it received only one pathetic star from ST.. my advice is... DUN TRUST ST standard!!!!! cos the show definitely deserved more that 1 star! not to mention that Zhi bumped her head into mine when she tried to hid her face.. (dun judge her by her looks.. she's not tt tough) anyway back to the movie.. I would give it at least 3.5 stars.. The story flows well and it has a fairly good plot.. YUP! so it's a show to watch

I dunno by who but I tink it's a theme song used in a Disney movie production.. I heard this when I was watching the show @ Clara's house quite few years back.. i was truly inspired by the lyrics at my tender age then.. hahaaa.. I find the lyrics very meaningful and inspiring...

Met up with my long-time-no-see fren, Haiping today.. He just came back from a holiday in the States.. He's supposed to give me some travelling tips today and show me his pics( He took damn alot of PICS!!! 3 1GB memory cards worth of pics.. BUT it's all bout sunset, sunrise, deserts, Grand Canyon i.e. rocks..... hardly see any pics of human... hahaaa.. tt's the diff between guys and girls.. Girls will always take alot of pics of themselves tog with the sceneries.. more narcissisitc! agree???) anyway~ He managed to fly SQ for just S$1600!!! damn good deal... and when he heard that I'm taking Thai Airways.. he kept asking me to bring medicated oil and kept shaking his head.. foul mouth..10-years-never-change~ Ohhh.. and he took the same flight as XiaXue also... damn qiao~ and he mentioned that she's damn short.. den I asked how short... and he replied:"a bit taller than HuiYi" hahaaaa.... Poor Ah Loy... she's not even taller than "damn short" standard.. but nvm laaa.. petite cuter=D *really*

anyway.. I ended up listening to his adventures instead of him providing me some useful travelling tips.. He kept asking me to go to the The Factory Outlet in the states cos the deals are damn GOOD!!! original branded goods are heavily discounted due to minor defects.. and he claimed that the one @ California are 10X the size of Tampines Mall... WAaaaaa... I'm really very tempted but den again.. I tink I have to shop @ the Kids Dept.. hahaaaa.. After Lunch I suggested Shopping since I haben really shop since the start of GSS.. and he's damn damn good!!!! helped me carry handbag when I go changing rooms and waiting paitiently for me while I entered every shop.. I felt kinda guilty but he kept asking me to take my time... hahaa.. Mr. Nice Guy=D *Bless him with a good GF soon!* After a fruitless 2 hr walk.. we went to catch Da Vinci Code=D Super Chim show *maybe cos I din read the book* and I dun understand alot of terms involved and I kept asking him bout them... Midway through the show, I managed to see some light and I actually quite enjoyed the show.. (I shall give it a 4-stars instead of a miserly 2-stars graded by the ST..) The pyramid is sooo damn nice!!! I must go Europe when I'm still young.. hopefully for my graduation trip..

Talking bout travelling..I noe that I'm a no-brainer.. always Blasting my paycheck on airtickets every year.. but I feel that there are some things that $ cant buy.. My mum always says" why are u always so eager to travel ard? U nvr seem to spare a tot for me.. always making me worry.. if u wanna travel u can always do so when u r working or when u r married........) BUT I feel that it's a totally diff feeling travelling @ my age now and travelling in my thirties, forties, retirement age... The choice of destinations, modes of transport, choice of places to stay, choice of travelling khakis will result in a different type of travelling experience.. I dun foresee myself being interested in backpacking and staying in motels when I'm in my forties... AGREE??? and I wanna live my life to the fullest whilst I'm still young and healthy cos Life is sooo unpredictable=D

(Sweet Memories are always linked to food.. Ain't they?) but I can only choose 5?! I try... ...

1. Plain White Rice

hahaaa.. I noe this sounds very "chi cham" (pooooooor thing.. like broke until no money eat food) but I simply love pressing leftover rice from dinner into balls and eat them for snacks.. My grandma will always cook a huge pot of rice everyday so there'll be plenty left over for my supper at night when I watch Sun WuKong serials.. and I will always scoop a large chunk into a serving bowl and start my plain rice buffet in front of the TV.. No Wonder I was overweight den... too young to be aware of Atkins Diet;P

2. Thousand Layer Cake ( Jiu-Cheng-Gao)

I love playing with food(e.g. I love to suck out the insides of French Fries and eating the fried skins later.. Ewwww.. but I loved it~) and this snack never fails to keep me occupied.. I can spend half an hour just peeling them layer by layer and the fragrance of coconut milk and the chewiness of the snack never fails to satisfy me.. it's not too sweet so u wont feel too sick from eating too much=D I can spend the whole afternoon peeling away and I still love it now! still prefer those from Benganwan Solo=D

3. Hot Milo cooked with Cereal and Eggs

Potent enough for a Breakfast!!! hahaaa.. my Primary 1-6 Breakfast Drink.. No wonder I always top 10 positions in my class den.. This drink kept me awake and energized! and.......... inspired occasional Nosebleeds as well=P

4. Fried Beehoon with Noodles (with fish nuggets and LOTS of Chilli) with Soy Bean Milk (with lots of Grass Jelly)

Only from my Ah Ma's place!!! only $1/packet and confirm sold out by 9 a.m. every morning cos it's Darn GOOD!!!! I'm not joking.. U should look @ the queue and somemore it's located under some ulu HDB flat... Every Sat and Sun Morning when my ah gong was not working, he'll wake up @ 7 a.m. to queue for me and by the time he reached home.. I will wake up just in time for a NICE breakfast... I love the soy Bean Milk from his place too!!! It's damn solid (not diluted and artificially sweet like those mostly avail nowadays..) and I love my drink to be Lukewarm.. It settles nicely in my stomach for a just-woken-up me=D I looked forward to weekend's morning every week=D

5. Bubble Gum (when I was still very young..)

Oh noooooo.. I left with only one choice??? I still got sooo many... anyway I shall dedicate this last vacancy to candy!!! I have (present tense cos' I still do!) a TERRIBLE sweet tooth.. and before Bubble Gum became History in Singapore.. I remembered going down to the provision shop downstairs every single day to buy them.. I always buy those 20 cents type that have separate packaging cos they came with Tattoos.. and I always have many NEW tattoos all over my body (arms/legs/ankles/palms) everyday... oooooohhh.. and one of my Hidden Talent is that I can blow really really HUGE balloons.. hehe..

My Gramps bought 12 Freaking Bak Zhangs (Meat Dumplings) for me when we met up for lunch on Tuesday.. I was too greedy yesterday and I am suffering from a serious bout of INDIGESTION now… I am feeling damn terrible since yesterday and it does NOT help that my job doesn’t allow me to move around.. I tried all ways to make myself Burp or Fart but nothing helps! Even when there are instances when I can feel a FART coming.. a colleague has to linger ard me…… I even tried drinking Lime Juice and lots of preserved slices but I am still feeling damn shitty.. any GOOD Remedies anyone?

I'm Finally GIVEN work to do today!! to keep me occupied for at least the next 2 DAYS!! hahaa.. u must be thinking tt I'm out of my MIND.. but I prefer doing work den slacking.. I hate the paid-to-slack feeling.. Last Friday was the worst! I spent the entire day after lunch doing NOTHING @ ALL!!! Cant really surf the net also cos the VP was sitting right behind me.. I really feel very not-value-added... and the time seemed to creep by ever soooooooo SLOWLY... I almost died from boredom..

Today is Monday again!!! 4 more days to weekend!! so sian..but at least I'm given tasks to do.. I'm already counting down the weeks to holiday and realized tt it's 8 LONG WEEKS away >>> 56 Days >>>1344 Hours>>>80640 Minutes >>> ... ... anyway.. I've decided to change my travel route upon reaching the States.. Instead of visiting DisneyLand in Florida.. I decided to go to the one @ LA cos besides DisneyLand, there's Universal Studios, HOLLYWOOD(YES!! the RED CARPET!), Little Tokyo, Chinatown, Malibu Beaches (and it's summer somemoreeeee... the beaches will be purrrrrrfect!!!)......... and LA is next to California and San Francisco too! Lots of pretty sceneries.. I MUST Save up my pay.. *Excited* and I'm also planning to go Washington D.C to visit the White House=D

Alright, Back to work stuff.. YY is also working @ Raffles Place.. Yay! another Lunch Khaki.. Lunched with her today and showed her the art of Chopping Seats during lunch hour.. Must Have when u go for lunch >>> Tissue Paper..(inside no Tissue also nvm..) >>> to place on table and the entire table and seats will be considered chopped.. (Such acts are rampantly seen) Saw Elvin and Jolene(Psycho) after lunch today.. She's working opp me.. so qiao.. realized alot of ppl are working ard tt area.. KaiTing working @ Fullerton.. but dun have the chance to lunch with her yet... IMy fav hotel is Fullerton.. Sent in my resume previously but was not selected.. Lucky KT!!!

anyway.. *Tml* my gramps are coming down to accompany me for lunch.. Sweet Of Them=D I hope to be like my gramps next time or rather hope tt my FUTURE husband will be like my granddad.. He's such a loving + caring + thoughtful + Loyal + (whateva good points) partner to my granny after all these years.. He'll wake up early every morning to do the marketing (Yes.. the Smelly Market!) and buy breakfast for my granny..He'll help with the household chores like sweeping and mopping the floor.. He'll help my granny dye her hair when the white roots become visible and always brings her out to shop and pat-toh so she wont get bored @ home.. and holds her hands when crossing the road/ climbing the stairs.. always used his savings to treat my granny to holidays with her sisters while he stayed in Singapore so as to save $$$.. and till today.. he comes my house every Sunday to buy me and my sis Breakfast and titbits.. He's one Great Guy (like my dad=D)

The KL/Malacca trip..(by TRAIN) still on? I checked out the rates liao.. it's RM 19 for 3rd class seat, RM 34 for 2nd class seat and RM68 for 1st class ... but the thing is hor.. if u buy the tix in Singapore.. u must pay the stated amt in Sing$ (i.e. RM19 >>> S$19) D.A.M.N. Stupid right?! Unless u go JB and buy the tickets den take train frm dere.. which I find it really very dumb if we r buying the 3rd class one.. cos wun save much laa.. Den the travel time will be 4.5 hrs to Malacca and 6.5 hrs to KL.. Departure time will either be 8.30a.m. or 1 p.m. daily... so How?? still interested? I AM =)

Tot I can FINALLY sleep early yesterday after finishing Thon-ning for the past week watching DA CHANG JIN… but ended up reaching home nearly 12 a.m. yesterday.. Had a really good time gossiping with HuiYi and Ying Yuan yesterday=D (Girls: The contents shall be not be divulged k?) and sooo..we were planning to leave ard 10 plus but we bumped into ChengXi…. And once he start talking, he will nvr stop…………….. and he talked and talked………..(or rather preach!) to us about the pro and cons of Multi-Level-Marketing ... and he’s not even in tt line.. and being the easily excited HY.. she is the only one paying attention.. haha.. anyway I left first cos I’ve to wake up early today… Guess we’ll be meeting up with him soon to let him continue his story.. haha..
Anyway.. We have decided to go on a weekend trip to KL on TRAIN!!!! Cos’ I’ve never been on a train before… Muahahahaaa… I’m soooo excited!! But I dunno where to check out the availability and rates.. where ah??? Anyone KNOWS?

I'm sooo damn free now!!! There's not much work for me to do today.. I've been slacking ard after lunch except helping to chop some letters... and I'm soooooooo BORED! I dun like the feeling of IDLING... Had a busy morning tho~... Talking bout Morning.. I'm Damn Damn Stressed out la... Cos' I'm assigned an Excel Task tt requires the VLOOKUP Function which I totally have no idea how to use @ all.. Heng my Colleague (HuiLing) is beside me.. She has been a great help all this while.. cos' she's much more efficient and familiar with Excel than an IT-very-not-savvy person like Me... and she's super Helpful.. literally teaching me step-by-step.. I'm damn damn Grateful to her!

Hopefully I can finish by tonight before 2 a.m. No joke man.. sleeping only 4-5 hrs a day... very the tiring! Tink the show quite nice to watch although not the die-die-must-watch type... but i think ChangJin character is too good to be true.. not very realistic in real-life and my most hated character in the show is LINGLU.. dun ask me why.. she just got tt Sun WUKONG's face.. haha!

I literally Nua-ed the whole day in bed watching DA CHANG JIN.. haha... I kop my mum's room's TV and VCD player and placed them in my room.. now I've everything>>>(TV, VCD player, Fridge, Toilet, Aircon, Bed and Side-Table to put my meals.. haha!) I've no reason to step out of my room @ all.. Life's a luxury=D

Hiz..but somehow.. I still feel funny not spending my weekend with Les.. I'm starting to miss him quite a bit.. It's going to be another 9 more weeks before I can see him... ... ... tml's Sunday again and only 1 week has passed?

anyway~ I watched VCD until 6 plus before lifting my butt off my bed.. had an early Mother's Day celebration today.. went shopping at Marina square before treating my mum to Thai express.. Had a craving for Ichiban Boshi.. but my mum's a vegetarian.. so in the end we chose Thai Express instead cos they have vegetarian menu.. nvm.. I like Thai food anyway!

Roamed Orchard the whole day yesterday to search a present for my mum.. in the end I went back to the handicraft shop at Plaza Sing.. I cant believe I spent 18 bucks on 3 pieces of paper and 1 sheet of Victorian cardboard letterings.. I'm super addicted to paper art now.. hahaa... but the materials a bit taxing on my pocket... Below is the final product (I used like only 30 min to cut and piece everything tog!!)

AND now i noe the name of the shop!!! it's called "Made With Love" Highly recommended !!!

Too full to sleep now so I've decided to blog.. Went to my Gramps place for Dinner today=D I've always enjoyed my Ah Ma's food.. I've been eating since young.. and seriously speaking I preferred her cooking to another one's else (including my Mum's=p)

I finished the whole plate of fried long beans as usual.. It may be a simple dish but I wondered how she managed to cook the beans till sooo damn soft and tasty.. and 1 entire piece of Cod Fish (my Fav choice anytime!) and 1 bowl of Everything-Also-Throw-In SOUP.. Plus Watermelon and Apples Plus Tau Sa Piah and Mochi.. Why did I tortured myself.... hahaa!!! but a full person=a Happy Me!

She's a super NICE GIRL!!! treat me to fruits and bought me snacks.. and she taught me EXCEL too! hahaa.. I'm quite Good Friends with Excel now.. haha!! to tink that it nearly killed me 2 Sems ago..
